ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45-90 WCF. S#. 49453. Bbl. 26" round. Replacement bead front, express rear sight and added Vernier tang sight having a large disk aperture. Half length mag. Left side of bbl. & receiver have British proof marks. Blue & case colored finish. Forend and pistol grip stock with horn insert of XX fancy black walnut feature style "H" factory checkering and smooth steel shotgun buttplate. Left inside of the lower tang is marked with assembly # 121 followed by "S" and wood grade marking "XX". Top tang channel stock has a matching assembly # "121".Mfg. 1890. CONDITION: bbl retains 60% dull fading blue showing dark spotting. The action has faded to a mottled brown. The stocks have a somewhat darkened appearance and crazing finish showing numerous scratches & marks. Checkering shows some wear. Vernier sight is attached with non-standard screws. Sound action.
